Upholstered Headboard Wall Panels

The Copley collection is a modular upholstered headboard that covers the whole wall, not just the width of your bed. It is built from panels in three widths that combine to fit your room, and every panel is handcrafted to order in Britain in your choice of fabric and finish.

Three sets are preconfigured for double, king and super king beds. Or start from the individual panels and build a run to whatever width your wall needs, with custom sizes made on request. Because the range is modular, you can add to it later, and the finish will still match.

A headboard that works like a feature wall

A conventional headboard stops at the edges of the bed and sits in front of a bare wall. A Copley panel wall continues past it, so the bed sits inside the design rather than against it.

Panels are 2000mm tall, which puts the top of the wall well above pillow height. Deep padding makes the whole surface comfortable to lean against, not just the section directly behind you, and it also softens the room’s sound.

Wall-mounted, and sized to your bed

Copley panels are wall-mounted, so nothing is fixed to the bed frame and nothing needs to be moved when you change the bed. Three sets are preconfigured to standard mattress widths:

• Double, 1500mm wide
• King, 1750mm wide
• Super king, 2000mm wide

Every set is 2000mm tall. If your wall is a different width, build your own run from the individual panels below, in 500mm, 750mm and 1000mm widths. Custom sizes are made on request, so a chimney breast or an awkward alcove is not a problem.

Plain, fluted or button back

Every panel is available in three finishes:

• Plain, for a flat, quiet surface
• Fluted, vertically channelled for texture and shadow
• Button back, deep buttoned in the traditional upholstery style

Mix finishes across a single wall if you want the bed section to read differently from the panels either side of it.

Fabrics and colourways

Copley panels are upholstered in the same fabrics as the rest of the Nook range: velvet, luxe chenille, woven and faux leather, across 18 colourways.

Order fabric samples before you commit. Colour on a screen is not colour on a wall, and these panels are made to order, so the sample step is worth the few days it takes.

Made to order in Britain

Every Copley panel is built to order in our West Yorkshire workshop on an FSC-certified hardwood frame, with high-density foam padding that stays comfortable to lean against for years, not months. Fabrics are fire-retardant. Nothing is held in stock and nothing is imported ready-made, which is why any size is possible and why it takes 8 to 10 weeks.

Panels fit with a split batten system, so installation is straightforward DIY, and nothing is fixed to the bed. Every Copley panel is covered by a ten-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
